One man has died after a fiery one-car crash in the Tulsa County suburb of Jenks. An article on the accident is available here.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol states 21-year-old Austin Bulwin was speeding south down 33rd West Avenue toward 111th Street just west of Jenks city limits.
He was killed in a crash when he failed to obey a stop sign, went through a fence, and collided with trees.
Officers indicate Bulwin’s vehicle then landed in a field and caught fire.
Officers say Bulwin, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
According to other news sources, the authorities have not determined if Bulwin was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Local property owners say the area has seen other accidents in the past—noting that even those drivers who are aware of the location of the stop sign often run the intersection.
