On Tuesday, 8/23, every student at Jackson Elementary School in North Tulsa received a free, brand new backpack filled with donated school supplies. The kids received their backpacks at a special assembly that was attended by many Tulsa community leaders and members of the local media.

After the assembly, Attorney Chad McLain was interviewed by KOTV Channel 6 News about the Graves McLain Free Backpack Program. You can watch Attorney Chad McLain share his thoughts about this wonderful community program in the video below:

Graves McLain would once again like to thank our wonderful community partners that helped make the Free Backpack Program possible: Jackson Elementary School, Tulsa Public Schools Partners in Education, All Souls Unitarian Church, the Tulsa Police Department’s Gilcrease Division, and all of the amazing volunteers that helped us fill each and every backpack with donated school supplies.

We look forward to continuing this program again next year, and expanding to help more schools in the North Tulsa community!
